Ingredients: - 1 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade) - 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar - 3 large eggs - 1 cup (240ml) corn syrup - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1/4 teaspoon salt - 1 cup (120g) pecan halves
Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp the edges as desired. 3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar and eggs until well combined. 4. Add the corn syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to the sugar and egg mixture, and whisk until smooth. 5. Arrange the pecan halves in the bottom of the pie crust in an even layer. 6. Pour the filling mixture over the pecans, ensuring they are evenly coated. 7. Carefully transfer the pie to the preheated oven and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until the center is set. 8. Remove the pie from the oven and allow it to cool completely before slicing and serving.

Hi there! It looks so good, but I am allergic to some of the ingredients. Do you think I can take some allergy medicine online and still eat such pies safely? I would appreciate any input on it, thanks!
